You will be staying in the beautifully renovated addition of the oldest home in town, the historic Locktender's House, built in 1835. Perfectly located in the heart of Port Colborne, we are steps away from the Welland Canal, where you can thrill to the passing of massive freighters and cruise ships passing by on their journey through the St. Lawrence Seaway. Or enjoy a stroll on the Promenade with its many shops and restaurants. On Fridays, walk to the local Farmer's Market.
Enjoy swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, cycling or hiking? Walk to nearby Sugarloaf Marina, HH Knoll Park, local beaches such as beautiful Nickel Beach, or explore the 140 kilometres of the Niagara Waterfront trails on our doorstep. Only a short drive away, head to Niagara Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world, or Niagara-on-the-Lake with its beautiful tree-lined streets filled with flowers and heritage buildings, where you can take in a show at the Shaw Festival Theatres, visit 19th century Fort George or tour some of over 50 Niagara area wineries.

The comfy, cozy cottage charm of this renovated spacious addition retains original features such as wood floors and windows, with a thoughtful blend of antique, vintage and new furnishings. Upscale modern amenities include heated bathroom/kitchen floors, quartz countertops, a Smart TV and luxury beds/linens for a restful sleep. Two bedrooms with queen beds lead off the living/dining area and a stunning, fully stocked kitchen. The vintage style bathroom has a full bathtub/shower and plenty of thick, soft towels! A lovely deck in front offers views of the canal and the private patio in back includes a BBQ and fire pit for those chilly evenings. And the first fire is on us! There is also an EV charger available for those with electric vehicles.
